Background
I’ve spent nearly two decades in software development, including over ten years focused on building dependable mobile applications across a range of sectors - from established institutions such as Lloyds Banking Group, Harrods, and Heathrow Airport to agile, fast-paced startups. These days, I’ve stepped away from client work, opting for the calm and clarity of a permanent role while steadily developing a small portfolio of independent mobile apps in my own time.
Core Focus
App Engineering
My strength lies in maintaining and modernising iOS codebases - carefully introducing SwiftUI, Core ML, and accessibility enhancements without disrupting what already works.
Although iOS is my mainstay, I do support Android where needed - particularly around syncing, payments, and mapping - ensuring parity across platforms without fuss.
DevOps & CI/CD
I have vast experience building and maintaiing CI/CD infrastructre. I rely on tools like Xcode Cloud, GitHub Actions, Gitea and self-hosted pipelines to keep builds predictable and clean.
ESP32 & Side Projects
Outside work hours, I tinker with ESP32 boards and indulge in a bit of game development - usually involving spatial audio, animated dialogue, cats, spaceships and playful experimental UI.
Staying in Touch
I’m currently not looking for freelance projects, but I’m always happy to talk shop. You’ll find the best way to reach me via the socials at the bottom of the page.
